The tasting will be conducted by Maria Megna from the "Leonardo LoCascio Selections". Maria has been working in the wine industry for 25 years. Having grown in an Italian restaurant family her passion and love of Italian wine, food and culture is tremendous. Her greatest joy is sharing this with others.
We are very pleased to welcome back our friend, Jeremy Sutton. He has spent 15 years in the wine business, the last 8 with Wine Enthusiast's Importer of the Year Kysela Pere et Fils. He's travelled extensively in France and Italy, as well as Chile, Argentina and Oregon wine country, as well as being a certified sake professional. Jeremy believes wine is a beverage of pleasure, and should be consumed with gusto.
We are pleased to welcome Winemaker, Mr. Daniel Benton. The word “Croze” is French for the groove in which a wine barrel’s head rests. The croze helps keep the barrel from leaking and adds stability to the barrel itself. As a boutique, fine wine craftsman, Daniel embraces the rich diversity of California’s most prestigious wine growing appellations. He recognizes the age old tradition of terrior and only sources grapes from optimal sites where families take the same care in growing wine as he does in making it.
